About Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah is a man-made island shaped like a palm tree, stretching out into the Arabian Gulf from Dubai's coastline. Its trunk and fronds are lined with hotels, beach clubs and residences, while the landmark Atlantis, The Palm resort sits on the outer crescent.
Visitors come for Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis, panoramic views from The View at The Palm, a ride on the Palm Monorail, and yacht cruises that show off the island and the Dubai Marina skyline from the water.

Plan your visit
Best time to visit
October to April is ideal for the beaches, waterpark and outdoor dining. Sunset is the best time for yacht cruises and for photos from The View at The Palm. In summer, plan outdoor activities for the morning or evening.
Getting there
Ride the Palm Monorail from Palm Gateway station, which links to the Dubai Tram at the Palm Jumeirah stop. Taxis reach every part of the island, and most tours include transfers from Dubai hotels.
Good to know
- Bring swimwear, sunscreen and a hat for the waterpark and beaches.
- Combine The View at The Palm with a Monorail ride for the best overview of the island.
- Book sunset yacht cruises early — they are the most popular slots.
- Most Atlantis attractions are ticketed separately; ask us about combo tickets.
