About Burj Khalifa

Rising 828 metres above Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa has been the world's tallest building since it opened in 2010. Its observation decks — At the Top on levels 124 and 125, and the premium At the Top SKY on level 148 — give you sweeping views over the city, the desert and the Arabian Gulf.

Right below the tower, The Dubai Fountain performs on Burj Lake every evening and The Dubai Mall is connected next door, so it is easy to combine a sky-high visit with dinner, shopping and the fountain show in one trip.

Highlights

  1. At the Top, levels 124 & 125

The classic visit, with indoor and outdoor viewing areas high above Downtown Dubai.

  2. At the Top SKY, level 148

A higher, quieter premium deck with a lounge and hosted experience.

  3. Sunset slots

The most popular time of day — golden light over the city, then the lights coming on.

  4. The Dubai Fountain

Free evening shows on Burj Lake, right at the foot of the tower.

  5. Downtown Dubai

Boulevard cafés, Dubai Opera and Souk Al Bahar are all within walking distance.

Plan your visit

Best time to visit

November to March brings cooler, clearer days. Sunset and early-evening slots sell out first, while early mornings usually offer the clearest long-distance views. The decks are indoors and air-conditioned, so a visit works all year round.

Getting there

Take the Dubai Metro Red Line to Burj Khalifa/The Dubai Mall station and follow the air-conditioned walkway into the mall. The At the Top entrance is on the lower ground floor of The Dubai Mall. Taxis can drop you at the mall's main entrances.

Good to know

  • Book a timed ticket in advance — same-day slots are limited, especially at sunset.
  • Arrive 15–20 minutes before your time slot for security screening.
  • Combine your visit with the evening Dubai Fountain show outside.
  • Clear mornings are best for long-distance photos; sunset is best for atmosphere.
