About Museum of the Future

Opened in 2022, the Museum of the Future is one of Dubai's most photographed buildings: a column-free, torus-shaped structure wrapped in Arabic calligraphy, standing beside the Emirates Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Inside, immersive floors imagine life in the decades ahead — from a journey to an orbital space station to future ecosystems and wellbeing — plus a dedicated hands-on area for younger visitors.

Highlights

  1. The building itself

Its stainless-steel façade is covered in Arabic calligraphy quotes about the future — stunning by day and when lit at night.

  2. OSS Hope space station

An immersive journey to a space station orbiting Earth.

  3. The Heal Institute

A futuristic library of thousands of species and a look at restoring nature.

  4. Al Waha

A calm, sensory wellbeing space to reconnect mind and body.

  5. Future Heroes

A playful, hands-on area designed for children.

Plan your visit

Best time to visit

Tickets are sold for timed entry slots, so it is best to book ahead. Weekday mornings tend to be quieter. Come back after dark to photograph the façade lit up.

Getting there

Take the Dubai Metro Red Line to Emirates Towers station, which connects to the museum by a footbridge. Taxis can drop you directly at the museum on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Good to know

  • Book a timed ticket in advance — popular slots sell out.
  • Allow enough time to explore each floor at a relaxed pace.
  • Photograph the exterior at night when the calligraphy is illuminated.
  • Combine with Dubai Frame or a Downtown Dubai visit on the same day.
