About The Dubai Mall
Right next to Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall is one of the largest shopping and entertainment destinations in the world, with well over a thousand shops, hundreds of restaurants and cafés, and attractions for every age.
Beyond the shopping you'll find the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, an Olympic-size ice rink, KidZania and a VR park — and when evening comes, The Dubai Fountain performs on Burj Lake just outside the waterfront terrace.

Best time to visit
The mall is indoors and air-conditioned, so it is perfect year-round and a great escape from the summer heat. Weekday mornings are the quietest; evenings are busiest but bring the fountain shows.
Getting there
Take the Dubai Metro Red Line to Burj Khalifa/The Dubai Mall station and follow the covered walkway straight into the mall. Taxis and ride-hailing cars drop off at the main entrances, and parking is available on several levels.
Good to know
- Entry to the mall is free — attractions such as the Aquarium, KidZania and the Ice Rink need tickets.
- Agree a meeting point with your group; the mall is very large.
- Plan an early-evening visit to finish with The Dubai Fountain.
- Combine it with Burj Khalifa — the At the Top entrance is inside the mall.
